TV Genius was founded in Spring 2005, is  privately owned and headquartered in London, UK.

Software development is carried out in Mumbai, India, and data management and cleansing is run from La Ceiba, Honduras.

The Directors of the business are Tom Weiss, a former Vice President of T-Mobile, and author of the book "Mobile Strategies", and Bob Eggington, the Project Director responsible for launching  BBC News Online.
