Short listed for a New Media Age Award

We are delighted to announce that The Guardian’s TV Listings service, powered by our content discovery platform, has been shortlisted for a New Media Age Effectiveness award.

The Awards aim to demonstrate and promote the quality of new media usage in the UK; to emphasise effectiveness in order to allow smaller companies to compete on an equal footing with larger ones; to act as an incentive to the new media industry to create world-class businesses; to provide a benchmark of excellence from which the industry can learn and from which it can build; to show the importance of usability and accessibility in building an effective online presence; and to demonstrate the power of interactive media to the wider business world.
