The TV Genius content discovery platform (CDP) includes all of the functionality of the TV Genius solutions in a single, easy to implement platform. Designs from the ground up to make it easy to deploy new services or enhance existing systems, the platform powers TV guides for millions of users each week.
The API includes functionality for authentication and authorisation and has been integrated with many CAS, CRM and SSO systems. It is compatible with most forms of (IP)TV middleware.
Fully documented API are available for the key three platforms:
- Web - the CDP serves HTML fragments that are either ingested into the customers’ web pages or are dynamically loaded using Ajax into the client’s browser.
- Mobile – the CDP serves mobile ready content as XML that can easily be ingested into an iPhone application or rendered as XHTML or WAP for the web web.
- TV - the CDP server either XML or Text based content, prepared especially for the TV platform, including all logic and ids so that content from the CDP can be matched against the standard on screen EPG and recordings list
The content discovery platform is typically provided on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis to minimise the need for upfront capital expenditure but can also be installed within your own infrastructure.
